How to Share Your AI-Powered Responses from Google Search is the central guide for generating and distributing custom links from Google’s generative search tools.
When you use features like AI Overviews or AI Mode, Google allows you to compile the generated answers into a shareable format. This allows friends, family, or colleagues to view the exact layout and information generated by the AI without needing to re-type the prompt themselves. Prerequisites for Sharing
Before you can generate a shared link, you must ensure your Google Account is configured correctly:
Enable Web & App Activity: You must have your search history and personalized recommendations turned on. If this setting is disabled, the option to share responses will not be available.
Turn Off Incognito Mode: Shared links cannot be generated while browsing privately.
Account Type: You must be signed into a personal Google Account. Google Workspace accounts (such as school or work accounts) do not currently support all AI sharing features. Step-by-Step Instructions by Device

Shared links capture a snapshot of the AI response. Because generative AI continuously learns from new web data, the underlying source links may update over time. Accuracy Disclaimer
Google notes that AI responses are rapidly evolving and can occasionally make mistakes or hallucinate facts. Recipients should always double-check critical details. Regional Controls
Some shared links may not render the full AI Overview if the recipient is opening the link in a country where AI Mode or AI Overviews have not yet rolled out.
If you want to manage or delete the data associated with your shared queries, you can review your history logs at any time via the Google Chrome AI Mode History Panel. Share your AI-powered responses from Google Search
